This POGP (Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy) course (6th, 13th, 17th, 18th October) will cover:
- a contemporary understanding of pain science and implications for pregnancy
- special cases and obstetric red flags (a must for anyone working in obstetrics or keen to work with pregnant women)
- the most up to date evidence for the assessment and treatment of pelvic girdle pain, low back pain, rectus abdominus diastasis and more.
It is a blended learning programme including self-directed online learning supported by two live evening sessions. The course culminates with a practical two-day face to face teaching workshop.
This course will be greatly enhanced if you have attended the ‘Pregnancy Related Physiotherapy: the child bearing year - an entry-level course’.
