Benefits of TPFS Membership
The aims of the society are to set and raise standards in the diagnosis and management of Pelvic Floor Disorder.
We are a multi-disciplinary society which focuses on promoting and advancing all aspects of the patient pathway from diagnosis and initial management through to advanced therapies and surgical intervention. TPFS works closely with the ACPGBI where our Secretariat is located and also collaborate with other organisations involved in the management of bowel, bladder and other pelvic health conditions.
TPFS members form a close network of clinicans, nurses and allied health professionals that have a wide breadth of knowledge and experience in the management of pelvic floor disorders. TPFS hold an annual scientific meeting and also run a number of high quality education and training courses for its members. Membership allows access to a number of online training and education resources, mentorship, enhanced patient information leaflets and access to collaborative research opportunities. All members are eligble and are encouraged to be part of the executive or one of the sub-committees in quality assurance and governance, training and education and research & development.
