TPFS invites expressions of interest and applications

The TPFS Executive Committee invites expressions of interest and applications from members for the position of the Scientific Programmes Committee Chair. The deadline for applications is 17:00, 7th August 2026.

This position has become vacant following the election of Ms Kim Gorissen as our new Chair-in-Waiting. Kim has made an outstanding contribution to TPFS, leading the development of the scientific programme for our annual meetings and the pelvic floor sessions at the ACPGBI Congress over the past several years. We are grateful for her commitment and congratulate her on her new appointment.

We are now seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to take on this important role. The successful candidate should have:

• A flair for developing innovative and engaging scientific programmes
• A strong professional network and/or ideas for high-quality speakers
• Energy and commitment to contribute actively to TPFS activities and its future development

The appointment is for a three-year term. The role involves attendance at the TPFS national meetings in July and November, as well as active participation in Executive Committee discussions and activities.

The deadline for applications is 17:00, 7th August 2026.
